What the canvas looks like

We render your photo in the style of a 19th-century oil portrait, soft natural light, painterly brushwork, warm earth tones (cream, moss-green, muted rose, stone), neutral background. Shoulders-up composition, alert, eyes to camera. No cartoons, no templates, no costumes. The painting reads as a painting, not a photograph.

What we don't do

We don't invent pets. We don't stitch together "memory portraits" of pets you never photographed. We don't take cartoon themes, your dog won't become a Renaissance king in a ruff collar. If the canvas comes back looking unlike them, you tell us, and we rework it at no cost. If a printed canvas arrives damaged or misprinted, we reprint and reship, you keep the original.
