Commissioned pet portraits from a working artist in the UK typically start around £200 and take eight to twelve weeks. That's a long time to wait with a photo sitting on a desk. We've built the faster, considered alternative — a painted-style pet portrait illustrated by AI and reviewed by a human, printed on matte canvas, arriving in about a week.

What the canvas looks like

We render your photo in the style of a 19th-century oil portrait — soft natural light, painterly brushwork, warm earth tones (cream, moss-green, muted rose, stone), neutral background. Shoulders-up composition, alert, eyes to camera. No cartoons, no templates, no costumes. The painting reads as a painting, not a photograph.

What we don't do

We don't invent pets. We don't stitch together "memory portraits" of pets you never photographed. We don't take cartoon themes — your dog won't become a Renaissance king in a ruff collar. If the canvas comes back looking unlike them, you tell us, and we rework it. If it still doesn't land, we refund in full and you keep the canvas.
