Personalisation, for us, means the painting has to look like this pet — their specific eye colour, their particular marking pattern, the slight cowlick above one ear. Not a template with a name overlaid.

How we personalise

You upload three to ten photos. We use the clearest face shot as the primary reference. The AI illustration tool draws on it, applying a 19th-century oil-painting style; the output is reviewed by us, then printed on a matte canvas and shipped locally to your address.

Our intake also asks for name, species, breed, and dates — these don't appear on the canvas itself (we deliberately don't print text onto the painting, keeping it in the frame of a real portrait) but they're used to pace the prompt and build your tribute page and eulogy alongside the canvas.

What we keep consistent

The painted style is the brand. We don't offer Renaissance-king themes, superhero parodies, or cartoon styles. Every Small Goodbyes canvas lives in the same quiet painted register. It's one of the reasons customers choose us — for a dignified portrait, not a novelty.

Primary photo choice, shipping country, and whether to make the tribute page part of the bundle. Everything else follows from the photo.
