A hardcover record of one life.
Twenty-eight pages, cloth-matt cover, eight-inch square. Your photographs, your stories, and the Warm eulogy, laid out as editorial spreads. Printed once, for your family, in the United Kingdom.
The Memoir
28 pages · 20 × 20cm · cloth matt
The Memoir is the object a family reaches for months later, not weeks. It's quieter than a canvas on the wall and fuller than a eulogy on a page. It's the thing you hand to the grandchild who asks what kind of dog you had when you were their age.
What's in it
Fourteen spreads across twenty-eight printed pages, laid out in our house editorial style — warm serif type on coated silk paper, wide margins, nothing shouted.
- Cover. Pet's name and dates in serif display type, cloth-matt finish, solid parchment tone.
- Title page with the species, breed, and a quiet dedication.
- Epigraph — a short quote about love and animals.
- Hero spread — one full-bleed photograph, the one most of your family associates with them.
- Opening essay across four pages — the Warm draft of your eulogy, typeset with a drop cap and a signed closing line.
- Five photograph spreads. One photograph on the left page, one of your answers to our prompts on the right. Up to ten prompts in, five pages out.
- Three-page gallery — the remaining photographs you shared, in a simple grid.
- A pause page with only a small ornament.
- Closing quote, colophon, and a back-matter note explaining how the book was made.
How it's made
Every memoir is printed once, for one family, on 170gsm coated silk paper inside a cloth-matt hardcover. It's bound, wrapped, and shipped from a single press in the United Kingdom. The opening essay was drafted with care from your answers, then reviewed against our brand guidance. The photographs are yours. Nothing here is stock, and nothing is shared.
When families reach for it
In the raw week after, most people want a canvas and a tribute page — something to look at, something to send. The Memoir isn't for that week. It's for the fifth birthday they should have had. The Christmas someone quietly misses them at the table. The moment a guest asks and you want to say more than sentences.
What we don't do
- No stock imagery. Every photograph in the book is yours.
- No voice cloning, no messages "from them", no invented memories. The eulogy is drafted from your stories; we don't put words in their mouth.
- No AI-generated photographs. The painted-style canvas that appears on other products uses AI; inside the Memoir, only your real photographs.
- No generic cover. The cover is typeset for this specific pet, with this specific pair of dates.
Delivery

Standalone or as part of the Keepsake
The Memoir is £79 on its own. It's also included in the Keepsake bundle at £219, which packages the canvas, eulogy, tribute page, Memoir, a pack of sympathy cards, three years of hosting, and a £15 Dogs Trust donation — saving £76 over the individual prices.
