What the portrait is

A picture of one dog or cat, in a painted style, made from your own photo and printed in the UK.

Most people find us after a pet has died. Some come while their dog or cat is still asleep on the sofa, because they want a portrait to keep. Either way it starts with one photo you already have, from your phone or an old album.

You choose one of five styles. Oil is warm and rich, watercolour is soft and light, charcoal is plain and strong, line is a simple drawing, and pastel is gentle. We show you a free, watermarked preview of your pet in that style, and if it isn't right you can try another.

Nothing is printed until you've seen it and said yes. Then it goes onto the format you pick, from a framed print or canvas to a mug, and comes to any UK address with delivery in the price. If you'd rather keep the photo just as it is, we print that too.
